Background

JOKA Plastic-Emballage A/S is a pioneer in developing and manufacturing unique packingsolutions. Allready in 1949, JOKA was able to - as one of the very first companies in Denmark - offer packingsolutions in, what was brand new and virtually unknown at the time -a product called "Plastic". The unique characteristics of plastic, were soon to revolutionize the packing industry - and today we can hardly imagine life without plasticpacking.

In 1961 JOKA introduced the unique Minigrip® zipperbag, which opens and closes - over and over again. A little later the Handi-Bag® bags with casted carrier-handles arrived as well as many other special products.
